Mavisoft is a young AI company aspiring to become the world leader in automated asset surveying. We use Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twinning to analyze images and their features, particularly defects in common building materials such as concrete, metal, and composite materials. We inspect some of the world’s most recognized assets, such as Schiphol Airport, Port of Amsterdam, Exxon Mobil, and many more.


In light of rapid growth in terms of size and market presence, we are now on the lookout for an ambitious Sales Director to help bring our solutions to new clients. Mavisoft’s wide range of offerings, along with our ability in AI to automate nearly any process, makes for a challenging and rewarding opportunity for you.



Key Responsibilities


  • Driving sales and executing aggressive sales plans, both in the short and long run, directly to new and existing prospects.

  • Bring an external view into the organization to improve the sales process with the aim of increasing customer retention rate, and helping reduce the sales cycle time period. 

  • Hunting down new business possibilities, identifying market opportunities and new business areas.

  • Attend conferences to engage with existing customers, and build relationships with new prospects.

  • Outbound prospecting by reaching out to prospective clients via multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Inbound lead follow-up by responding to queries generated through our websites, events, social media, etc.

  • Adopting a consultative approach to qualify opportunities and leads.

  • Researching our existing clients and working with our team to look for up-sale and recurring opportunities.

  • Understanding our product terminology and pricing structure.

  • Grow our business in line with the KPIs you define with the CEO.



Required Skills and Abilities


  • A Master’s degree, or equivalent level based on work experience

  • 5+ years of sales experience in a comparable sales leadership position in a B2B environment

  • A proven track record with generating new customers and existing network throughout Europe.

  • Exceptional leadership skills; ability to communicate, resolve issues, and create a motivating and inspiring team culture.

  • Attention to detail in verbal and organizational communication.

  • Works closely with co-founders, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

  • Able to perform multiple tasks, balance priorities, and meet deadlines; ability to work under pressure.

  • Able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary agile driven team.

  • Takes initiative and has a high level of ambition, motivation, and passion.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, being adaptable to work in a growing business.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Strategic mindset allowing to combine a longer-term view with a short-term drive to deliver results.

  • Good written and verbal communication in English.

  • Must be based in the Netherlands, preferably close to Rotterdam. 



Nice to Have/Bonuses


  • Experience of working with maritime, container & intermodal, aviation, oil & gas, renewable energy, public infrastructure or aerospace industries.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in French, Spanish, Portuguese and/or German. 

  • Interest in future Machine Vision AI and its applications
